We are just two days away from our first community-wide presentation with Sheri Fairman, Dementia Care Solutions Specialist!

Join us as we come together to discuss and better understand the progression of dementia. This is the first session in our 2026 presentation series, and we are excited to open our doors to the community for this free event!

This presentation is for anyone in the Appleton and surrounding areas—caregivers, spouses, family members, professionals, or individuals looking to learn more about dementia. All are welcome.

✨ Meet Barb! ✨

Barb has only been part of the Eagle Point family for a few short months, but she’ll be the first to tell you—she absolutely loves it here. ❤️

Like many, Barb shared that the transition from home wasn’t easy. After experiencing a lot of loss over the past few years, she was worried that making a move might mean losing her independence. But she said, “Once I got here, it all changed—and I love it!”

Her daughters helped every step of the way, doing all the “behind-the-scenes” research to make sure Eagle Point was the right fit. Now? They’re saying, “My husband and I want to move here!” 😊

One of Barb’s favorite parts of life at Eagle Point is dinner each night. She loves that there’s always something different (and delicious!) on the menu—and she can’t say enough good things about the dining staff who make it so special. 🍽️

Barb currently lives in a cozy studio apartment and was even offered a larger space—but she turned it down without hesitation. She says her apartment is absolutely perfect for her just the way it is. 🏡

✨ Good news! We currently have one apartment available at Eagle Point—and it happens to be the same style as Barb’s! If you’ve been thinking about making a move, now is the perfect time.

We had a wonderful visit at Eagle Point with Liam and Kithara, the owners of Dalla Terra Pasta! They shared the story behind their made-from-scratch pasta business and gave residents a behind-the-scenes look at the care, ingredients, and passion that go into every batch. From flour to finished pasta, it was a deliciously inspiring conversation and a great way to learn about a local business dedicated to authentic, handcrafted pata! So much work, love, and care goes in to every batch!

✨ Meet Your Neighbors – Dick, Karen & Annie! ✨

Like many couples, Dick and Karen always imagined growing older in the home they loved. When the time came to make a change, they knew they wanted somewhere that still felt like home—and most importantly, a place where they could stay together and bring their beloved dog, Annie. 🐾

Finding a community that welcomed Annie and offered beautiful outdoor spaces for her to enjoy was very important to them. Today, they are more than happy to call Eagle Point Senior Living their home away from home.

From the moment they arrived, they felt the strong sense of connection. They found residents who share similar life experiences and who genuinely want to get to know one another. They also love that they are able to continue living together in the same apartment, supporting each other every day. ❤️

Dick and Karen especially appreciate that the activities here aren’t just “time fillers.” They describe them as meaningful and purposeful, bringing joy, laughter, and engagement to each day. They also love the live music, which brings everyone together and fills the community with energy. 🎶

They often talk about the staff, who greet them with smiles, take time to have conversations, and show true care and respect. And of course, they can’t forget the food—“absolutely amazing,” they say! 🍽️

For Dick, Karen, and Annie, Eagle Point isn’t just a place to live. It’s a place to belong—for every member of the family.

Last year, we had the privilege of welcoming Sheri Fairman each month to coach and support our staff. This year, we’re expanding that opportunity to our families, residents, care partners, and the greater Appleton community!

Join us for a new monthly presentation series at Eagle Point Senior Living, featuring engaging and informative talks led by Sheri. Beginning March 27th, these sessions will be held once a month throughout the year and will explore meaningful topics designed to educate, inspire, and support overall wellness — especially for those navigating dementia care.

Participants will gain practical strategies, fresh perspectives, and the opportunity for thoughtful discussion in a warm and welcoming environment. Whether you are a caregiver, family member, spouse, or simply looking to learn more, these sessions are for you.

Sheri Fairman has a Masters in Social Work with over 10 years of experience supporting older adults and their care partners. She is a Certified Independent Trainer and Consultant with Positive Approach to Care, founded by Teepa Snow, and serves as a mentor on her team. Sheri is also the owner of Dementia Care Solutions, where she provides consulting, coaching, and education focused on quality dementia care.
