One of my favorite tools in therapy is watercolor. There’s something powerful about watching the paint move — how it bleeds, blends, and does its own thing no matter how much we try to control it.

I often paint right alongside my clients. It’s not about creating something “beautiful” — it’s about surrender, presence, and noticing what comes up when things don’t go as planned.

For many of us working through perfectionism, OCD, or anxiety, watercolor becomes a gentle teacher. It reminds us: we can’t control everything… and sometimes, that’s exactly where the beauty is. 🌊💙

✨ Exciting news! Before we kick off our regular Zumba® classes at the Rec Center, I’ll be offering two special Intro to Zumba sessions 🎶💃

These classes are a fun way to get comfortable with some of the music, rhythms, and basic choreographies you’ll see in class. Whether you’re brand-new to Zumba or already a big fan, you’re welcome to join in and move with us!

👉 Regular Zumba® classes begin Monday, October 13th and will be held Mondays & Wednesdays at 6:15 PM.
