We are a primary care office specializing in patients of all ages. Pediatrics by appointment. Someone will come outside to your vehicle to collect a nasal swab.

We are offering rapid COVID testing at this office, but we ask if you are having ACTIVE COVID symptoms, to please remain in your vehicle and call our office to check in 256-640-8416. Please also send a copy of your insurance card and ID to our office email at office@marshallprimarycare.org. We CLOSE for lunch every day from 12PM-1PM. We take appointments & walk-ins are welcome but in order for our staff to take a lunch we do not take walk-ins past 11:00 AM. We also do not schedule new patient appointments past 3:30PM, or established patients past 4:15PM due to us closing at 5PM. Thank you for your understanding.

🚨 Stay Safe in the Heat: Know the Signs of Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke 🚨

As temperatures rise, it's important to stay aware of the dangers of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Both can be life-threatening if not treated quickly, but the good news is they can be prevented!

🔥 Heat Exhaustion:
Symptoms include heavy sweating, weakness, dizziness, nausea, and headache. If you notice these signs, move to a cooler place, drink water, and rest.

🔥 Heat Stroke:
This is more serious and can happen if heat exhaustion isn't treated. Signs include a high body temperature (over 103°F), confusion, slurred speech, rapid pulse, and loss of consciousness. If you suspect someone is experiencing heat stroke, call 911 immediately and cool the person down with cold compresses or by soaking them in cool water.

Preventing Heat-Related Illnesses:
💧 Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
🧢 Wear light, loose clothing and a hat when outdoors.
🌞 Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during the hottest part of the day (usually 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.).
🛑 Take frequent breaks in the shade or air-conditioned spaces.
