Before I call it a night I just want to thank everyone who came and helped us put this amazing benefit on and all who helped sell tickets. It was one for the books for sure. We couldn’t have done it without all the help we had.

Quick little update we just sold all the barbecue plate tickets we will have some extra to cook so please still come by. We will sell till we are sold out!!! I have sold out of the raffle tickets as well. If you have reached out to me and made arrangements I have yours put to the side. I will try to order a little more raffle tickets if they will get here on time. Thank you to everyone who has helped to sell and everyone who has bought tickets!!! Good Morning everyone!!! The raffle tickets will be in today. If you would like to take some to sell at work or to whoever please get with me or Billy. They will be $5 each or 5 tickets for $20. Today's Update

Jenns Facebook is still locked since someone felt the need to report it. 🙄

So here's the update on Ms. Madisyn. She has settled into her temporary home at CC Rehab in Corpus. After her evaluation by the PT and OT teams, they've made subtle mention that her stay shouldn't be very long due to the fact she has so many restrictions. They aren't able to put her through the intense therapy she needs until the surgeons give her a little more freedom. With that being said the plan is a short stay to help her with balance and practice on transitioning from bed to wheelchair and back on her own. Once she has that down she should be able to come home to continue her recovery.

When she's finally able to put pressure on her leg and arm and bend at 90 degrees she can start getting around with a walker. At that point she can begin outpatient PT and be on the home stretch to that blissful day when she's walking again 🙏💙

We are all so excited and thrilled with her progress and determination. She has a request from all of us - if we can all agree in prayer.....
Please pray that she can come home in time to make it to her benefit. Her heart is set on being there and making sure everyone knows and sees how wonderful our God is and how much she appreciates everyone. No setbacks what so ever and for strength to get these PT and OT goals accomplished. She wants to feel confident in her ability to help us, help her when she comes home.

She can't wait to physically attend church and be in the presence of God to thank him for all he's done. That is her 2nd ask.

As always continued prayers for a full and speedy recovery in all areas - mind, body and soul.

We continue to thank God for each of you and all you've done to help us get thru this difficult time. We love you.

A big day for the Cardenas Family. After 2 extremly eventful weeks in ICU and 3 total weeks at BAMC surviving death 5 times along with heart surgery, kidney surgery, hip and hand surgery-7 blood transfusions, 4 broken bones, brain, kidney and colon bleeds, acute lung failure, ecmo and ventilator support, countless bumps, scraps and bruises and injuries we are finally saying goodbye to this chapter of her recovery.

So if you've ever wondered what kind of God we serve, he is all knowing,all powerful, God of miracles, God of the impossible, all faithful and full of mercy. All glory to him for he strategically placed each and every doctor in the right place at the right time and annoited them with healing hands and minds. Thank you Lord.

Here is proof he has heard our cries, prayers and requests as he's answered each one. Thank you all for your love and faithfulness to God. Each one of you have a part in this amazing testimony of miracles. Our tears today are of pure joy and thankfulness.

It's on to the next phase for our girl. She's being transferred to Corpus Christi Rehabilitation Hospital for acute inpatient therapy to restore her bones, muscles and coordination. She's full of motivation as she makes this transition. Let's continue to pray for strength and courage as she will be digging extra deep mentally and emotionally during this time.

Jennifer’s Facebook is on the fritz today so she asked me to post this:

Good morning everyone! Sorry there hasn’t been updates for a couple days. Things have been fairly quiet for Madi as far as her physical recovery.

Been hammering her with lasix and she’s lost 56 lbs of fluid so far! Which is amazing. She’s still got a little ways to go but definitely moving in the right direction. We are working out some kinks in her labs to get all those magnesium, potassium and electrolyte levels where they need to be. Her pain management is on the right track and she’s switched to all oral intake for meds outside the IV fixes for recent lab work finds.

We are waiting for insurance approval to have her transported by BAMC to CC Rehabilitation Hospital! Yes! She’s going to finally be closer to home soon! Hopefully her stay there is short lived and she’s able to get those legs back in action.

Continued prayers for her mental, emotional and spiritual health. This recovery process is way beyond just physical and she’s having some rough days. None the less, we know what a fighter she is and she dries those eyes and pushes forward every single day. It brings tears to my eyes typing this because I’m in such awe of her and she makes me so proud. Even when she says she’s tired I see her dig deeper and fight harder. She’s so amazing guys. I wish you could see thru our eyes just how incredible she truly is.

Thank you for those of you who have taken time to reach out to us and to Madi. In her words…..Your strength is our strength. God has surely used each of you to help us thru this time. I promise I can call out each of you by name so please don’t feel your love and support is unnoticed. We appreciate it with our whole hearts.

A journey full of so many ups and downs. Today we thank God for his miracles that have given her precious life back to us. Lord we thank you for the gift of life.

Madisyn is continuing her battle physically as each days passes and we are so amazed by her strength and her body’s endurance to keep pushing.

As she continues her physical healing and the dust begins to settle, trauma and pain beyond the physical realm begin to surface on top of it all.

Please help us pray for her mental, emotional and spiritual wellness. For comfort and peace and hope to be boosted each and every waking moment. Her patience and will power to rise up inside her precious soul. She’s tired. She’s discouraged. She wants this all to be over and to be home and she wants to know why? 😭

Watching her suffer in so many ways is getting harder and harder to carry. Not having answers for her is equally heartbreaking. Please continue praying for us. Please continue to lift her up to Jesus to restore her every void and renew her entire being. Victory is near. To God the Glory.
