“A prenatal massage is a full body massage performed by a certified prenatal massage therapist. A few modifications are implemented with body positioning to ensure the safety and comfort for both mother and baby. During a prenatal massage, you are usually positioned lying on your side rather than on your stomach or back. Yet at Arcata Lomi Massage you will be able to lay face down as we have a magical pregnancy pillow that allows Mama to lay face down while her belly is propped up and floating. Every pregnant woman LOVES this glorious aid. Extra pillows, bolsters, or padding may be used to support your back, knees, and/or feet or anything else you may need. We love being apart of your journey and are here to support you in any way possible during this precious time.”
