Mercury in Retrograde 11/9 🌬️🖤Witch Edition

This weekend is a good time to tend the spaces where communication lives. Clean your phone screen, back up your files, delete old messages, and close the tabs that are pulling your attention in too many directions. Create room to focus 👁️

Place a small bowl of water where you speak the most as a reminder to slow down.

Pause before responding.
Ask for clarity when needed.
Speak simply and directly.
Give others time to process.

This doesn’t need to be a deep overhaul, just some gentle clearing to make a little more room for your thoughts and words to move easily.

Full Moon in Ta**us 🌝

Work with this moon through your hands and your senses. Build an altar that connects you to both earth and shadow with soft fabrics, soil, crystals, dried herbs, a bowl of salt or clay, and a scented candles.

Write down what drains you and what sustains you.
Then choose your act of release.
Bury your words in the earth and let the soil transform them, burn them in the candle’s flame,
or move and sway until your body remembers it is free to take up space.

Let the moonlight reveal what has been hiding. Let her draw it to the surface, slow and steady, until the release feels like relief.

What we unearth in the dark must be felt through the body before it can be released.

The magick here is embodied and unhurried.

Scorpio Season 🦂🌞 Welcome to the depths.

When the Sun moves through Scorpio’s mysterious waters, it is a time of shedding, of truth-telling. Scorpio wants the whole story, even the parts we hide from ourselves. Where Libra taught us harmony, Scorpio seeks brutal honesty.

The Scorpio glyph resembles a scorpion’s tail ♏️
But its got a bad reputation, the scorpion is not aggressive. It waits and watches. It feels. It only strikes when threatened. It mirrors what you bring. Approach this sign with respect and you’ll find depth and loyalty. Come with chaos, and you may meet its infamous sting 🦂✨

Scorpio is Fixed Water. Fixed signs sustain. Water feels. Together, they form the emotional undercurrent that cannot be ignored. Scorpio waters are dark and still. Think deep dark lakes and swamps.

Scorpio water teaches us to hold intensity without running away. It’s scary to see the darkest parts of ourselves, even for a witch! When Scorpio is balanced, it is brave enough to feel it all. The intense rage, fear, desire, grrief, all of it, and wise enough to hold it without judgment.

This is the realm of transformation. Death and rebirth and power reclaimed.

But when Scorpio becomes fearful, it can turn cold or controlling. It may withhold, manipulate, or sting before it feels safe. The lesson is vulnerability. The medicine is trust.

Scorpio reminds us that to be seen in our truth is the most intimate act of all 🙌

To create an altar to your beauty is to remember that you are worthy of devotion.

The new moon is a beautiful time to refresh your altar. Clear away what feels stale. Add new objects that reflect who you are becoming. Let this ritual mark your own, quiet renewal

Begin by gathering objects that bring softness and self-admiration within you. A shell that reminds you of your cyclical nature. Candles to warm the space with light. A photograph of yourself as a child. Flowers in bloom. Love letters. A lipstick that makes you feel beautiful.

Arrange each piece with intention. Let your hands move intuitively. There is no wrong way.
This is not vanity. This is reverence. You are art in motion.
