I am so grateful to step into this volunteer based role & to help build this movement from the ground up ♡
When I spoke to Samantha Clair, the founder, it became instantly clear that we aligned and shared a vision of wanting people to be held with dignity, empathy, & respect. To be supported, validated, & seen as expert in their own life ♡
Make sure to follow The Human Care Project as you won't want to miss what comes next!!
We’re honored to officially welcome Kristen Miller-Hahn as our Director of Social Work & Community Outreach.
From the very beginning, it was clear that her perspective, experience, and depth of care align with exactly what this work requires.
This work is deeply intentional, and so are the people behind it. This is just the beginning of what we’re building. 🤍

“Hi, I’m Kristen.
I’m honored to step into the role of Director of Social Work & Community Outreach with The Human Care Project, work that feels deeply personal to me.
Over the years, both personally and in the work I’ve done alongside others, I’ve seen the gaps in care, across perinatal experiences, school-aged supports, and throughout different stages of life. I’ve sat with individuals and families trying to access help, only to feel overwhelmed, limited, or unsure of where to turn next.
This is especially true when families are navigating loss. In those moments, people need more than a system, they need guidance, compassion, and to feel seen. Too often, families are left feeling like a number, expected to find their way through something they were never meant to carry alone.
There is also a deep need to be listened to in medical emergencies, during diagnostic evaluations, and in everyday appointments. People deserve to feel heard, to have their concerns taken seriously, and to be met with empathy, not dismissal.
This work matters to me because access to care shouldn’t feel out of reach, and support shouldn’t feel confusing or isolating. People deserve options. They deserve to understand what’s available to them and to make choices that feel aligned with their needs, not feel boxed into a system they have no support navigating.
I believe each person is the expert in their own life. Their voice deserves to be heard, respected, and trusted.
At the core of everything I do is a commitment to helping people feel seen, supported, and not alone.
I’m grateful to be here.”
