A continuing care community offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, Rehab, Memory & Special Care, and Long-Term Care — all with compassionate, personalized support for your health and well-being. Established by the Mennonite Churches in Northwest Ohio, Fairlawn is a Christian based non-profit organization providing high quality services to residents of all denominations. Our belief is that every resident deserves respect, dignity and quality care.

-Independent Living Condominiums and Rental Apartments provide the safety and convenience of your own home, without the maintenance responsibilities.
-Assisted Living is available for those who need a little more help. Meals and laundry service are provided and staff is on hand to assist you.
-Memory Care is a growing need and our beautiful and caring Memory Neighborhood provides the comfort, care and therapy services residents need.
-Short Term Rehab can help you get back to your own home after a illness or surgery. Both inpatient and outpatient services are available.
-Long Term skilled care is provided with the care and concern you or your loved one deserves.

Painting a Little Sunshine!🌸☀️❤️
Our Independent Living Residents enjoyed getting creative during our free “Dreaming of Summer” paint class with Kim Lauber. Inspired by warm sunshine and colorful butterflies, this beautiful painting is a wonderful reminder that brighter days are on the way. 🦋

🎙️ Fairlawn on Chamber Chat!
Our Director of Donor Relations, Tina Draine, recently joined the Archbold Area Chamber of Commerce for Chamber Chat on 96.1 WMTR Radio.

It was a wonderful opportunity to share more about the mission of Fairlawn Retirement Community, the programs happening on campus, and the community partnerships that help make Fairlawn such a special place.

We celebrated Dr. Seuss Day on Monday! 🎩📚
The day was filled with silly and tasty treats — pinky inky drinky, green eggs and ham, and popcorn for everyone! 🍿

Residents also enjoyed Cat in the Hat strawberry banana “hats” 🍓🍌 and challenged themselves with a Dr. Seuss word search.

There were smiles, laughter, and Seuss-inspired fun all around — a wonderful way to celebrate a classic author who reminds us that imagination never grows old! ❤️

Assisted Living Soup Showdown! ✨🥣
Our Assisted Living staff brought the flavor and the fun with a friendly Battle of the Soups — and our residents had the very important job of tasting and voting for their favorites! 😋👏

🥈 2nd Place: Mallory Hannon — Chicken Noodle
🥉 3rd Place: Natasia — Vegetable & Sausage

Full bowls, big smiles, and plenty of friendly competition — we’d call that a “souper” success!

🔥🏅 Fairlawn Winter Olympics — let the games begin! 🏅🔥
Our Independent Living residents turned up the energy and the teamwork as they represented USA 🇺🇸, Jamaica 🇯🇲, Norway 🇳🇴, and Canada 🇨🇦 in an afternoon full of friendly competition and BIG smiles!

From creative indoor curling 🥌 and fast-paced air hockey 🏒 to our own version of cross-country skiing ⛷️, the fun never slowed down.

The excitement kicked off with the lighting of the Olympic torch 🔥 and ended with a joyful medal ceremony 🥇🥈🥉 celebrating effort, laughter, and incredible team spirit.

🥇 Team Jamaica brought home the gold, 🥈 Team Norway earned silver, and 🥉 Team Canada proudly claimed bronze — but truly, everyone who participated was a champion.

Who says you need snow for the Winter Olympics? Around here, creativity, connection, and a little competitive spirit make every moment golden. 💙👏

From National Wear Red Day ❤️, to our Sweetheart Cart 💝 spreading Valentine’s cheer, celebrating Fat Tuesday with delicious paczkis 🎉, and enjoying our Tortilla Chip Cart for National Tortilla Chip Day 🥙 — we found so many meaningful ways to celebrate together.

💙 Because great teams deserve great moments… and maybe a few snacks too 😉.

Crafts with Callie 🎨
Handmade with love! 💗 Our residents enjoyed a fun Valentine’s craft session, creating beautiful wall hangings and Valentine door hangers filled with creativity and heart.

They also spent time making mixed-media magnets using recycled can lids, scrapbook paper, Mod Podge, and special embellishments — each one reflecting a little piece of their personality and creativity. ✨

🌟Employee of the Month – Becky Mock 🌟
At Fairlawn, it’s the heart behind the work that makes all the difference — and Becky Mock shines in that way every day. For the past 1½ years, Becky has faithfully served in our Housekeeping and Laundry team, caring not only for our spaces but for the people who call Fairlawn home.

Becky says her favorite part of her role is connecting with residents and listening to their stories — because they carry so much insight and wisdom. Those moments of connection reflect the compassion and kindness she brings wherever she goes. With her positive attitude, warm spirit, and ever-present smile, Becky lifts the day for residents, families, and coworkers alike. 💙

Originally from Arkansas and Oklahoma, Becky made her home here nearly 34 years ago after getting married. She still holds close the traditions of her roots — including a love for fried chicken livers and black-eyed peas! 🍗🥣

Becky, thank you for the joy, encouragement, and genuine care you share so freely. You truly live out our core values each day, and we are so grateful you are part of the Fairlawn team. 💙
