A continuing care community offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, Rehab, Memory & Special Care, and Long-Term Care — all with compassionate, personalized support for your health and well-being. Established by the Mennonite Churches in Northwest Ohio, Fairlawn is a Christian based non-profit organization providing high quality services to residents of all denominations. Our belief is that every resident deserves respect, dignity and quality care.

-Independent Living Condominiums and Rental Apartments provide the safety and convenience of your own home, without the maintenance responsibilities.
-Assisted Living is available for those who need a little more help. Meals and laundry service are provided and staff is on hand to assist you.
-Memory Care is a growing need and our beautiful and caring Memory Neighborhood provides the comfort, care and therapy services residents need.
-Short Term Rehab can help you get back to your own home after a illness or surgery. Both inpatient and outpatient services are available.
-Long Term skilled care is provided with the care and concern you or your loved one deserves.

Tree of Thanks 🌳 🍁
Smiles filled the room as our residents and the wonderful Archbold Area Schools AHS Impact students came together to create a beautiful Tree of Thanks — a heartfelt display of gratitude and connection 💙

Together, they traced their hands to form the “leaves” of the tree 🍁 and filled each one with words of gratitude — for family, friends, health, home, and the many everyday blessings that fill our lives. Love, laughter, and reflection filled the room as generations came together in the spirit of thankfulness 😊

The Tree of Thanks is displayed in our Chapel ⛪ — we warmly invite residents, families, and guests to stop by, read the heartfelt messages, and feel the gratitude that surrounds it.💙 A simple activity, a powerful reminder: gratitude truly connects generations in the most meaningful way 🌿🤍

Our wonderful Fairlawn staff spent the day decking the halls and decorating our 15 Foot Christmas tree — filling the space with sparkle, laughter, and holiday spirit. 💙

We’re so grateful for our team and the joy they bring to Fairlawn, especially during this special season.

Casino Night! 🎰 ♣️♥️
Our Independent Living residents enjoyed a lively evening filled with games, laughter, and friendly competition! From blackjack and craps to shuffleboard and “human slots,” the room was buzzing with excitement and smiles. 😄

A special shoutout to our amazing team for creating such a memorable event — and to Chef Zakk for the delicious casino-themed snacks and treats! 🍤🍪

Luck was in the air, and everyone left a winner. 💙

Pinecone Petals in Bloom! 🌸
Our Independent Living residents enjoyed a fun and relaxing craft day — creating beautiful pinecone flower art! Each flower was hand-painted and carefully arranged, turning simple pinecones into stunning, nature-inspired masterpieces. 🎨

A little paint, a few pinecones, and a lot of smiles— what a wonderful way to spend the day!

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸
Today, we proudly celebrate the heroes who have served our country with courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication.

We were honored to serve lunch to our Veterans and their spouses — a heartfelt way to say thank you for all they have given. ❤️

A delicious meal of roast beef, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, classic sides, and pie for dessert was enjoyed in gratitude and fellowship.

To all Veterans within our community and beyond:
Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your strength. 💙️

In honor of Veterans Day, Fairlawn has placed a Missing Man Table — a powerful tribute to those who served our country but never returned home.
Each item on the table holds special meaning:

🍽️ The Small Table Set for One – reminds us that some are missing from our ranks.
⚪ The White Tablecloth – symbolizes the purity of their intentions in answering their country’s call.
🖤 The Black Napkin – represents the sorrow of captivity.
🌹 A Single Red Rose in a Vase – signifies the blood shed to ensure our freedom.
🎗️ The Yellow Ribbon Around the Vase – stands for the hope and demand for proper accounting of those still missing.
🍋 A Slice of Lemon on the Plate – reminds us of their bitter fate.
🧂 Grains of Salt – symbolize the tears of families waiting for their loved ones to return.
🍷 An Inverted Glass – because they cannot toast with us.
🪑 An Empty Chair – for they are not here.
🕯️ A White Candle – symbolizes our hope that all who are missing will return someday.

We honor their sacrifice, remember their courage, and hold hope for their safe return. 💙

This table will remain on display throughout the week as a reminder of the cost of freedom.🇺🇸

Autumn Adventures! 🚌 🍂
Our residents enjoyed a beautiful fall scenic drive to Harrison Lake, taking in the vibrant colors, crisp air, and peaceful views along the way. 🍁🌾

We made the trip a couple of times this month to watch the leaves change — and each drive was more stunning than the last! 💙

We might be a little late to the party, but this was too fun not to share! 🐙
Our Assisted Living residents had a splash celebrating National Octopus Day! They colored and crafted their very own octopuses — now proudly displayed on our wall for everyone to enjoy. 🎨✨

To top it off, we served a themed drink — our “Ocean Punch” — a bright blue refreshment with a friendly octopus swimming on top! 🌊🧃

Cheers to creativity, connection, and a splash of Ocean Punch fun! 💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Trick-or-Treat event last night! What a sweet evening it was — filled with creative costumes, big smiles, and families who brought so much warmth to our halls. 💙
