Currently, we provide services related to: ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Integrative Dysfunction, fine/gross motor deficits, learning disabilities, play skills, speech/language delays, behavior management, social skills, and more. We are a certified provider of Interactive Metronome, a proven method to enhance: frustration tolerance, attention, concentration and academic performance.

HGPT Family, this week marks 15 years since I started this little dream in my basement — and look at us now! What began as a hope to make a difference has grown into something so much bigger and more beautiful than I ever imagined, all because of you.

To the families: Thank you for being such a special part of the Higher Ground family. Your smiles, stories, and support have made these 15 years truly amazing!

We had an unexpected visitor at the clinic today
 and no, it wasn’t a new physical therapist đŸ»

A black bear were climbing in the trees behind the clinic — reminding us to stay calm, be aware, and give others (and wildlife!) the space they need.

We’ll be keeping things BearWise by giving our furry neighbors space and keeping food and trash secure!

(Though if you are a physical therapist who’s not afraid of the occasional bear sighting
 we’re hiring 😉)

It may be spooky season🎃 but there’s nothing spooky about Angie D., our October ! Angie has been an occupational therapist at HGPT since August 2025. She has a special interest in pediatric populations. She’d love to learn more about ocular motor skills and how they impact life.
