Last Friday, Ernest Hemingway, portrayed by John Dennis Anderson of Greenville Chautauqua: History Comes Alive, visited campus. Residents explored how the author transformed American writing with his direct, no-nonsense style, earning him the Nobel Prize in Literature. His life of bullfighting, womanizing, drinking and hunting was as rebellious as his prose. Thanks for sharing, Ernest!
