Some jobs are bigger than just making something look clean — they’re about restoring the presence of a building.
Today we were asked to take a look at one of the old OSU buildings here in Ardmore that’s being prepared to go on the market. Years of weather, algae, and environmental staining have dulled the brick and limestone accents, and the green metal roof sections are showing oxidation.
Before a property like this hits the market, presentation matters. A professional exterior cleaning can dramatically improve how a building looks in photos, during walkthroughs, and to potential buyers seeing it for the first time.
This one is a big project:
• ~30,000 sq ft of exterior wall surface
• 3-story structure
• 375 window panes
• limestone architectural bands
• oxidized metal roof sections
The plan is a full soft wash restoration of the masonry to safely remove organic staining while protecting the brick and mortar. We’ll also be offering oxidation treatment for the metal roof areas and several window cleaning options depending on how the seller wants the building to present.
Projects like this are a great reminder that pressure washing isn’t just about blasting things with water — it’s about using the right process for the material and the result you want.
More updates coming once we get started on this one.
