HealThy Self Quilts

They facilitate the natural healing abilities of the body. And they look beautiful hung on the wall or draped over a chair! (pronounced "heal thy self") HealThy Self™ Quilts arose from my passion for color, love of fabrics and affinity for rocks and crystals. My deep love for these seemly diverse things are melded into each HealThy Self™ Quilt. Only after my first quilt did I realize what great healing power these quilts facilitate—just like chicken noodle soup or a favorite robe! Every HealThy Self™ Quilt is infused with healing energy (I am a reiki practitioner, master teacher level) as each custom quilt is pieced, quilted and embellished. No negativity is allowed around the quilt during the 30–40 hours required to create it. Based on the individual answers provided on the order form, the colors and stones used are selected intuitively to promote specific healing(s). The center stone, blue kyanite, is a self-clearing stone, thus all HealThy Self™ Quilts are perpetually cleared of negative energies. Reiki symbol(s) may be quilted into the quilt or drawn on the inside pieces. A HealThy Self™ Quilt will promote healing energy for as long and as often as required. Sit or lie comfortably with the quilt centered over the torso to bring healing energy to any source of pain or discomfort. Rest for fifteen minutes or longer. Or, hang a HealThy Self™ Quilt in the room to continually promote healing to all those nearby. With care, a HealThy Self™ Quilt will last for generations to come!
