🇺🇸 Honoring a True American Hero 🇺🇸

Last Sunday, Elara Caring Hospice-Ardmore had the profound honor of recognizing a true hero — Mr. Hodges — with a beautiful and heartfelt Veteran Pinning Ceremony.

Mr. Hodges proudly served in the United States Navy as a shipfitter during the Vietnam conflict. In this vital role, he was responsible for the construction, repair, and maintenance of naval ships, helping ensure their strength, safety, and seaworthiness. His hands helped build the very vessels that protected our nation. He retired from the Navy with honors — a testament to his dedication, integrity, and commitment to service.

Surrounded by family, friends, and our Elara Caring team, we gathered to express our deepest gratitude for his sacrifice and unwavering devotion to our country. There were moments of reflection, appreciation, and heartfelt thanks — reminders of the courage and resilience carried by those who serve.
At Elara Caring, we take great pride in honoring our veterans. It is a sacred privilege to recognize the brave men and women who have defended our freedoms.

Mr. Hodges, we thank you for your service. We thank you for your sacrifice. And we are forever grateful.

We walk in honor of our patients, families, and loved ones affected by this disease — and in hope for a future without Alzheimer’s.

It’s always inspiring to see our community come together for such a meaningful cause. 💪

I had such a great time chatting with you all and sharing the incredible work our local Ardmore Elara Caring Hospice ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ team is doing right here in our community. It was an honor to talk about the true benefits of hospice care and help break the stigma that still surrounds it.

Hospice isn’t about giving up — it’s about living with dignity, comfort, and support.
