9am workout ✅!
This is a big deal for me. For those of you who are closer to me, you know that I've really been focusing on work. This means 1. Starting from scratch for the 3rd time in my training career 2. Learning the ropes at Life Time 3. Adapting to a new and fast changing schedule 4. Assuring that my clients are getting the best of me at all times, which can be challenging when your schedule is quickly changing 5. Relearning how to manage a healthy work/life balance. It has been a blast! I am so grateful to work for such a great company. Now why do I share this?
I share this because I love what I do, but my personal health was placed on the "backburner." This doesn't mean I stopped working out. I still worked out anywhere 4 days a week on average but my mind hasnt been there. I've been going through the motions and creating stress instead of gainz. I needed to re-evaluate my workout schedule and I did. New plan, new gains, no excuses. I need to lead by example!
I know many of you with busy schedules can relate. It is hard to prioritize physical activity and exercise when so many other things are going on. This is why it needs to be a non negotiable. When it is non-negotiable, there are no excuses. When you plan properly and focus, there are no excuses. Sometimes you need to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and just fix it. Sit down through the tedious brainstorming process and find a solution. Most people have about 15 to 16 hours a day to work with. ~8 hrs of work ~1.5 hrs of commuting maybe you have children... What are you doing with the rest of your time? Why is being healthy important to you? If it is that important to you, you will figure it out. I believe in you.
