After almost a full year of virtual zoom school, these kids finally got to return in person and see their friends today!! I don’t know who was happier: the kids, my fully vaccinated parents (🙏), or us!! So incredibly grateful to all essential workers, including teachers and the people tirelessly working to distribute vaccines. Covid has been (and continues to be) so hard for so many families, including my own with the recent loss of my cousin. But after seeing the big smiles on my kids faces and hearing the excitement as they ran around getting ready - I felt a big sense of hope today that I haven’t felt in a long time. Every day is special!! Happy Monday!!
