We love the “&” around here!

We’re taught to think in extremes and often negate one idea for another using “but”.

I’m strong but I’m struggling.
I’m grateful but I’m overwhelmed.
I love my family but I need space.

However replacing but with and helps us choose truth and makes room for complexity.

You can feel anxious & capable.
Heartbroken & hopeful.
Triggered & committed to growth.

Did you know that our job can expand past the therapy office? We also do trainings, workshops, and community outreach!

Jessica B shared her knowledge and skills this past week! She had the opportunity to do a presentation for Young Men’s Service League tonight. The presentation was “Teen Boys: Not Broken; Just Under Construction”. Jessica B shared with mom’s of teen boys what’s really going on from a neuro standpoint and how parents can respond differently to create connection.
