3 Strength Moves Every Runner Should Do

Running stronger isn’t just about miles — it’s about muscle balance, control, and power.
Here are 3 key exercises to help you run better, longer, and injury-free 👇

1️⃣ Single-Leg RDL
💥Strengthens hamstrings & glutes, improves balance, and keeps your hips stable through every stride.
Tip: Keep your hips square and hinge from the hip — not the back.

2️⃣ Lateral Lunge
💥Builds glute and adductor strength while improving side-to-side control — essential for knee and hip stability.
Tip: Sit your hips back into the working leg and keep your chest tall.

3️⃣ Calf Raises
💥Develop strong calves & Achilles for better push-off and running economy.
Tip: Try single-leg or slow-tempo variations to build strength and endurance.
