The Quiet Edge… even when things don’t go as planned. 🏀

This weekend, my daughter played in four basketball games.
In her second game, she ran full speed into another player and injured her knee.

She never complains… but before her third game, she came to find me.
Her coach was surprised—because that’s just not her.

But she knew something important:
👉 Mom and Dad could help.

There have been times we’ve adjusted her between games and she’s bounced right back to 100%.
But this time was different… her knee was purple and swollen.

On the ride home she said,
“Mom, please do everything you can so I can play tomorrow.”

As soon as we got home, her dad — Dr. Dave — adjusted her knee.

And just like we’ve seen for over 26 years in practice…

Yesterday our daughter played two basketball games.

She was calm.
Confident.
In rhythm.

She drained five 3-pointers.
She scored from everywhere.

And every time she pulled up to shoot…
the gym went quiet.

You know that feeling as a mom.
You hold your breath.
Time slows.
Nothing but net.

After the game another parent smiled and asked,
“What did you feed her today?”

I laughed a little.

It’s not just what she ate.
