💗October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Let’s Fight Together

Every October, we unite in support of those affected by breast cancer, honor those who have lost their battle, and raise awareness for the importance of early detection. Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women, and while survival rates are improving, we still have work to do.

What You Can Do:
🎀 Know the Signs:
Lumps, changes in the appearance of the breast, or unusual pain can be early signs. Regular self-exams and screenings like mammograms can help detect changes early when the disease is most treatable.
🎀 Get Screened:
Mammograms and other diagnostic tools are critical in catching breast cancer early. Talk to your doctor about when and how often you should be screened, based on your personal health and family history.
🎀 Support Those Affected:
Whether through a donation, volunteering, or simply offering a listening ear, your support can make a huge difference for those battling breast cancer.
