♥️ Four generations of women’s stories converge around heart health 💛

Stacy Yentz has seen the devastating effects of heart disease from across generations in her family. Last year, Stacy tragically lost her mother to unexpected heart events.

Shortly after, Stacy's 22-year-old daughter, Hailey suffered a cardiac arrest. Thanks to quick action, Hailey survived.

In the aftermath, Stacy, Hailey and the Yentz family are on a mission to spread awareness about heart health and safety.

Thank you to the superintendents from across the region serving on our Eastern States Superintendent Council! Now in its second year, the Council works to improve the health and well-being of students, families and educators through the Kids Heart Challenge & American Heart Challenge.

Among the superintendents are Greater Washington Region leaders, Dr. LaTanya D. McDade, superintendent of Prince William County Public Schools and Dr. Aaron Spence, superintendent of Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia.
