The Patricia Schneeman Recovery Fund
In honor of Pattie's lifelong dedication to helping others heal and grow, we have established the Patricia Schneeman Recovery Fund - an expansion of our Patient Rewards Fund.

This fund will continue to support rewards for treatment compliance and will now include life-enriching recovery resources such as Equine Therapy, 12-Step activities, and other vital supports not covered by daily clinical rates.

These are the kinds of resources Pattie championed, and this fund is a meaningful way to carry forward her passion and legacy.

In Memory of Pattie Schneeman

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Pattie Schneeman, our Chief Growth Officer and a cherished member of the National Capital Treatment & Recovery family for nearly three decades.

Pattie began her remarkable journey with NCTR on October 7, 1996. For 29 years, she dedicated her life’s work to helping others find hope, healing, and success. She touched countless lives—staff, patients, and community partners alike—with her wisdom, kindness, and unwavering commitment to our mission. Her leadership and compassion shaped who we are as an organization and who we strive to be.

Pattie’s legacy will live on in every life she helped change and in every heart she inspired. She was more than a colleague—she was family, a mentor, and a true light to all who knew her.

A memorial and celebration of her life will be held at NCTR at a later date. Details will be shared once arrangements are finalized.

Please join us in keeping Pattie’s loved ones in your thoughts and in reflecting on the joy, strength, and purpose she brought to our community. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
