We are proud to offer obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) treatment in our office! OSA is considered a serious medical condition that, when left untreated, can lead to additional health problems: ⬇️

💤 Daytime Fatigue: Because of a lack of restorative sleep at night, people with OSA often have severe daytime drowsiness, fatigue and irritability. They might have difficulty concentrating and find themselves falling asleep at work, while watching TV or even when driving. This can put them at higher risk of work-related accidents.

🫀 Cardiovascular Problems: Sudden drops in blood oxygen levels that occur during OSA increase blood pressure and strain the cardiovascular system. Many people with OSA develop high blood pressure, which can increase the risk of heart disease.

💊 Complications With Medication & Surgery: OSA is also a concern with certain medication and general anesthesia. Medications such as sedatives, some prescription painkillers, and general anesthetics relax the upper airway and can make OSA worse.
