⛳️ It's warming up, and for many in the Arlington and Lakeland area that means golf season is here! While Golf is a great way to stay active, it can also come with its fair share of aches and injuries.

At Arlington Physical Therapy, we commonly see golfers dealing with:

• Lower back pain from repetitive twisting
• Shoulder strains from overuse
• Elbow pain (often called “golfer’s elbow”)
• Wrist injuries from ground impacts

The good news? Most of these injuries are treatable with the right approach. If your swing is causing discomfort, don’t ignore it—let the APT team help you get back to playing your best. And as always, do Dr. referral needed and low wait times!

If you’re dealing with chronic pain, muscle tightness, or limited mobility, dry needling with electrical stimulation may be the solution you’ve been looking for. This advanced APT therapy targets painful trigger points using thin needles, while gentle electrical impulses help reach deeper muscle fibers to reduce pain, improve circulation, and accelerate healing. By combining these two techniques, patients often experience faster relief, improved muscle function, and better overall movement.

At Arlington Physical Therapy, our goal is to help you move better, feel better, and get back to doing what you love—without relying on invasive treatments.

Low wait times and no Dr. referral needed, call us today!

Physical therapy has a reputation… and let’s be honest, it’s not always fair 😅 No, it’s not a medieval torture session. No, we don’t wake up excited to make you do crazy stretches. And no, you won’t be crawling to your car afterward.

What you will do is move in ways that help your body heal. You’ll learn why something hurts, what to do about it, and how to prevent it from coming back. You might even laugh a little along the way. 😆

Sure, there may be a stretch that makes you say, “Ohhh wow, I didn’t know that muscle existed.” But when you stand up straighter, walk easier, and leave feeling stronger than when you walked in? That’s the APT good stuff!

Physical therapy isn’t about pain — it’s about progress. 💪

🔥 Sciatica Tip of the Day! 👉 Avoid prolonged sitting. Set a timer to stand up and move every 30–45 minutes. Even a short walk around the house or office can reduce pressure on the sciatic nerve and ease pain.

MOTION is LOTION — and small changes can make a big difference! If you're still dealing with sciatica and low back pain, remember we have a FREE workshop coming up. Watch Matt's video in the previous post to learn or sign upfor the free workshop here: arlington-physicaltherapy.com/workshop/
