💙 Supporting Our Georgia and Tennessee Communities During the Government Shutdown

We know many in the Spina Bifida community rely on SNAP benefits and may be feeling uncertain during the government shutdown. The Spina Bifida Association wants to help by letting you know about some trusted local food resources that may be able to offer support to you and your family.

🎬 Check out this awesome resource from our friends at ABLE Youth!

ABLE Youth has a YouTube playlist called “Doing Life” where their amazing kids (and sometimes staff and alumni!) show how they do different skills from a wheelchair — from household chores and wheelchair navigation to car-related skills and more.

Each video includes a step-by-step description, helpful tips, and real stories from young people—most of whom have Spina Bifida—sharing how they navigate life with confidence and independence. 💪
