Understand challenge and barriers resident and visitors encounter with city facilities, pedestrian facilities, programs, services and activities.
Identify changes that may be needed to the City’s programs, services and activities to remove barriers and be more accessible.
Identifying and prioritizing future sidewalk improvement projects
An ADA Transition Plan is a required document that identifies barriers and accessibility issues with the city’s facilities, pedestrian facilities, programs, service, and activities. Also, it outlines how and when those barriers will be removed to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The Sidewalk Master Plan will use the data collected to create a long-term, citywide strategy for improving and expanding pedestrian infrastructure. This will help the City to deliver high-impact improvements where they are most needed—making the city more walkable and inclusive for all.
The survey is in the comments. It's available until March 7, 2026.
