It's with great sadness that we celebrate and honor the life of Tom Gentile who passed on Saturday April 4.

Tom Gentile, a lifelong friend, father, ZB practitioner and teacher, Rolfer and Five-Element Acupuncturist, passed away on April 4. Tom was a creative spirit who was passionate about Zero Balancing and who loved sharing ZB. Since training to teach ZB with Dr. Fritz Smith in 2004, he generously offered his time, skill, wisdom and good humor in classes and trainings around the country. So many of us were touched and transformed by Tom's fulcrums.

At the request of Tom family, the Zero Balancing Health Association has created a Tom Gentile Scholarship Fund.

May this fund continue Tom’s wonderful contributions to ZB over the years and spread and amplify the light of ZB throughout the world. We miss him so deeply, yet his light shines on in our hearts.

Ways to contribute:
1) By credit card: https://donate.stripe.com/00w7sMdWmdhD55VaEj8so0c
2) By check: Make your check out to the ZBHA and send to ZBHA Scholarship Fund c/o Megan Lavery, 2762 Forest Ridge Rd., Fernandina Beach, FL 32034. Please note as donation in Tom’s name.

Please share your stories and memories of Tom in the comments below.

What you don't know

will always be infinite.

Stand in what you know,

open to what you don't know.

One of the hallmarks of Zero Balancing is that our basic protocol supports overall wellness. ZB offers the possibility for long-held patterns in the body to shift, allowing clients to sail through life with greater ease. Yet emotional release can occasionally arise unexpectedly during a session. For new practitioners or those without additional training in trauma-attuned approaches, emotional releases can feel especially challenging to stay at Interface.

By writing or drawing in a journal, we can consciously identify and explore our edges, experiment with new approaches, and build confidence in ourselves and our work. The journaling process can help us to celebrate our strengths, have more compassion for ourselves, trust what we feel, and amplify our presence, ease, and embodiment – which makes our work more rewarding for us and our clients.

In this 2-hour class, through a combination of discussions and embodied writing exercises, students will learn:
• The benefits of journaling for Zero Balancers
• Ways to connect to your inner wisdom
• Ideas to make journaling a joyful and sustainable practice
• Mining the wealth of insights found in your journal
• Resources and support to keep you writing and engaged
