Did someone say 2016?! ⏪

This , we are reflecting on where Rock Recovery was as an organization 10 years ago, and just how far we've come in the last decade.

In 2016...

✨We were serving around 75 clients annually. We now serve over 100 clients WEEKLY.
✨We hosted one group therapy program. Now, we host EIGHT group therapy programs in addition to providing individual therapy to clients in need!
✨Revenue was around $200k. Now, we are almost a MILLION DOLLAR organization. 😮

This type of growth is only possible with a strong, steadfast community. If you are reading this, you are someone who has helped write our story, and it's difficult to put into words how thankful we are for incredible community members just like you.

Here's to another decade of making life-saving eating disorder treatment and support affordable and accessible to all! 💚

At Rock Recovery, we believe caring for one another is at the heart of healing. Every therapy group, every shared meal, every moment of connection is built on the idea that recovery happens best in community — where people are seen, supported, and never asked to walk alone.

Today, we honor Dr. King’s legacy by continuing to build spaces rooted in compassion, dignity, and collective care. Because when we show up for each other, real healing becomes possible.

Next time you’re out with your friends, or relaxing at home with a good book, take a moment to celebrate your victories. Pause, reflect, and share with those around you how hard you’ve worked to get to where you are today. We are so proud of you, and always cheering you on. 💚

Remember, recovery isn’t linear, and we’re here to help when you are experiencing the hard times. Click the link below if you or someone you know would like to explore Rock Recovery’s individual and group therapy programming and get connected to support today.

TW: Weight loss and dieting

Our Executive Director’s voice is featured in Arlington Magazine! Christie Dondero Bettwy breaks down how well-intentioned weight-loss goals can sometimes turn into something much more harmful — and how we can shift the conversation toward healing and self compassion.

In this article, Christie shares insight on the realities of dieting culture, eating disorders, and why accessible, judgment-free support matters now more than ever. 💚
