Sunday reset.

Last week was not perfect for me either. I was sick, exhausted, and reminded how quickly we take our health and energy for granted.

This morning I woke up finally feeling like myself again. That alone feels like a gift.

Here is the truth most people need to hear.

You do not have to be perfect to move forward.
You just have to keep showing up.

New week.
New energy.
New opportunity to take care of the body and life you are building.

When you’re sick, we do not train.

Right now I’m home with both COVID and the flu, and my only job is to rest and recover.

This is an important reminder for my clients and anyone who trains hard.

Not all sickness is the same.

COVID or Flu: Fever, body aches, deep fatigue
Rest. Hydrate. Recover.

Cold or mild virus: Congestion, runny nose, mild sore throat. Light movement like walking is okay. Skip hard training.

Self inflicted: Hangover, poor sleep, bad choices
Hydrate, sweat, get back on track.

Learning the difference is part of becoming someone who trains for life.

Health first. Always.

If you’re sick, take this as your permission to rest without guilt. Your progress is not lost.

As a coach, I see it all the time. People working hard in the gym, meal prepping, tracking, showing up… and still feeling stuck.

Sometimes it is not about more discipline. Sometimes it is about one habit quietly resetting your progress every week.

This is not about shame. It is not about labels. It is about asking one honest question.
