๐ ๐ค๐ป Back with some foodie Insp..
When we were in Guam ๐ฌ๐บ I learned quite a bit! Originally I had no idea Guam is a U.S. territory in the western Pacific Ocean. I also had no idea where Guam was located, and the fact it was only about 3hrs 40 min flight from Japan! In short, Guam is in Micronesia, between East Asia and Southeast Asia, and closer to Asia than to the U.S. mainland.
Our resort was a tropical rainforest on the Philippine Sea- it was not only incredibly peaceful & serene because not many people were there, it had maybe 10 people a day in the Sea less in the mornings. The air quality was the best part, it was so crisp & fresh- with the clearest skies!
Every morning we would have a Japanese Buffet - I knew all about Japanese foods because I studied different culinary cultures as a Holistic Nutritionist: Health Coach - I also study them in my free time as something I really enjoy doing! Every morning I made a warming breakfast- Miso soup, green tea, natto etc. However when I got home I realized cooling works best for me personally in the mornings- my digestion thrives on my juicing & smoothie but I crave warm foods throughout the day, especially at dinner. Remember every thing you do is very personalized- see how it makes you feel! ๐
During lunch or dinner in Guam we would go to this Japanese store: food court called Don Don Donki! They had a Japanese sweet potato ๐ stand, wagyu ๐ฅฉ and winter melon aduziki bean oolong tea ๐ซ I would get these on repeat! ๐
We went shopping at the Japanese/ Korean stores around Virginia when we got back & I picked up all the goodies I enjoyed in Guam + new chopsticks ๐ฅข . Iโll be experimenting! There is SO much food to try in the world ๐
Remember when you get bored with your life, with your food, with your fitness- theres much to do, to see & to be in life. Just expand outside your comfort zone!
