I started my first healing journey in 2017 these were a every morning staple for me- My gut lining was destroyed due acne antibiotics and other medications- I couldnโ€™t even digest food- After countless medical appointments, I decided to heal myself. I fasted for 7 days, I did juice cleanses, broth, raw vegan etc etc. I used the knowledge from to heal ๐Ÿ’š I healed & I had a routine down- we got relocated twice in 2 years & I sorta just lost the flow, I repeat this about my journey because I still get asked by new followers.

In the past 2 years new health experiences have came up, and itโ€™s another new journey of mine. My only focus at this time in my life is healing. I went back to what I know plus combining support and testing & things have improved slowly yet surely.

Morning Routines are incredibly important for your mind & body>>> I Juice every single morning & now I stretch every morning as well. Cleansing the body upon waking up;

I have been craving chili so today I went on a fun grocery restock and got ingredients to make a different version- you know me, I love making meals medicinal so I added in ingredients you may have never tried; I hope you give this recipe a try- if you do please tag me or let me know โค๏ธ I love sharing now for fun now, cooking has always been my passion.

๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Ingredients
โ€ข 1 lb lean ground turkey
โ€ข 1 tbsp olive oil
โ€ข 1 white small onion diced
โ€ข 3 garlic cloves, minced
โ€ข 1 (15 oz) can chili beans drained
โ€ข 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
โ€ข 1 (8 oz ) can tomato sauce or Use 2 large tablespoons of marinara sauce! ( Ive made this both ways! )
- 1 can of organic pumpkin ๐ŸŽƒ
-1 cup chicken bone broth
- 2 tbsp chili powder blend
-tsp each oregano, Thyme, Sage
- teaspoon each salt
- teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Cacao
- 1 teaspoon of Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Ceylon Cinammon

Adding cacao (or cocoa powder, or dark chocolate) to chili is a classic trick with deep culinary roots โ€” particularly in Mexican and Southwestern cooking. Hereโ€™s why it works so well- besides the medicinal properties of all the ingredients I used>>> Cacao balances the acidity, it adds bitterness & a earthy richness, adds an Unami savory flavor.

NOW besides this making the flavor amazing it also plays a huge roll in your digestive tract. Theres a reason we crave certain things- salty, sweet, bitter, savory etc- Food is medicine ๐Ÿ˜‰

Beans ๐Ÿซ˜ are magical so if your saving money right now focus on making soups, stews & trying new cooking methods with beans, grains and vegetables - there are sooooo many varieties out there you just need to get creative! You can also shop in bulk at local health food stores to grab only what you need. โค๏ธ

I am actually teaching a Mat Pilates class today- itโ€™s a ๐Ÿ†• routine Ive been practicing. As I am adjusting to this new era & incorporating practicing my stretching / yoga deeper again . ๐Ÿ™†โ€โ™€๏ธ This is something ill be doing once in awhile, not committing to much at this time in my life- all about flexibility. Mentally & physically ๐Ÿ˜‰

I am also writing up routines for people currently & will continue some virtual classes once in a while & in person group classes in December. ๐Ÿฉต

This is a time astrologically to release and shed our old patterns and beliefs of ourselves. Emerging into something new. ๐Ÿ›๐Ÿฆ‹ New consistent routines, new creative outletโ€™s, new perspectives. I switched if up with a different style today; A Korean type flavored Roast. ( I totally thought I had green onions & sesame seeds on hand but I didnโ€™t- I would add those! So I included them below. ๐Ÿ˜)

To cook a roast go back to my first roast recipe post- but heres the way I flavored this one;

๐Ÿฅฉ Easy Healthy Korean Roast (Soy-Free)
โ€ข coconut aminos (instead of soy sauce)
โ€ข sesame oil
โ€ข rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
โ€ข honey
โ€ข garlic, minced
โ€ข 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
โ€ข toasted sesame seeds
โ€ข green onions
โ€ข Salt and pepper

Add with Basmati Rice & any steam vegetables! I would choose carrots and Bok Choy as great options ๐Ÿƒ

This soup & these immune boosting ingredients have always been on repeat for me in these Seasons, besides chronic pain issues, Ive never had much problems with colds: flus or anything of that sort and I strongly believe its from what I take on a daily basis! I went thru 2020 with this natural knowledge too trusting my own intuition ( thank goodness! ) ๐Ÿ”

These are some common ones you may know of used in this soup recipe ; Ginger Root, ๐Ÿซš Garlic, Onion, Cilantro, Parsley, Turmeric, Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano, dried Orange peel, Lemon, ๐Ÿ‹ Sea salt, Peppercorn, Such an amazing blend!

Rotisserie Chicken, Lac-into Kale ๐Ÿฅฌ, Cannel-ini Beans ๐Ÿซ˜, Carrots, ๐Ÿฅ•, Parsley, Cilantro ๐ŸŒฟ, Green onions ๐Ÿง…, Bone Broth.

Questions ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ I always get asked is โ€” You can use Broth which is much cheaper Broth is made from meat and veggies simmered for a few hours.

Bone broth is made from bones simmered much longer, releasing collagen and minerals for a richer, more nutritional value OR making it more expensive yet it contains high amounts of protein & collagen vs Broth . ( & obviously the best method is making your own because it has the highest nutritional benefits & saves you money!
