We are getting into the Halloween spirit at Millwood Hospital thanks to Katrina, our Director of Recreational Therapy, and her staff. They are hard at work transforming our gymnasium into a fun and safe space where patients can enjoy games, candy and time together.

We are grateful to our Recreational Therapy team and all our staff for creating meaningful moments of care and connection every day at Millwood Hospital. 🎃

At Branches Excel Fort Worth, a service of Millwood Hospital, we’re proud to introduce Nichole, the dedicated professional leading our Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (V-IOP) for teens. With a graduate degree in social work and a strong foundation from her own experience growing up in a military family, Nichole brings both clinical expertise and deep empathy to the care she provides. As a veteran, Nicole understands the unique challenges today’s teens face, whether they’re struggling with anxiety, depression, anger management, or the pressures of daily life.

In the Branches Excel Fort Worth Virtual IOP, teens are encouraged to process their emotions in a safe and non-judgmental environment where safety and privacy are our top priority.

Nichole works with teens each week to set SMART goals, track progress and provide psychoeducation on topics that support social and mental development. She encourages camaraderie and open discussion while teaching coping and life skills to help teens manage emotions and build stronger relationships.

For more information, please call us today to schedule a level of care assessment at (844) 963-HOPE.

Join us in congratulating Cassandra “Cassie” DeMora, our new Director of Admissions! Cassie has been an essential part of the Millwood intake team, previously serving as Assistant Director of Admissions. She’s a proud U.S. military veteran and brings discipline, empathy, and a strong sense of service to her work every day. We’re incredibly proud to see her step into this well-deserved leadership role!

We asked her about her promotion and she said, “I value the privilege of creating a safe environment where individuals feel heard, supported, and treated with dignity, even in their darkest moments.”
