Big news in Arizona! 🎉House Bill 2433, which expands Medigap access to Arizonans under age 65 living with ESRD or ALS, passed unanimously out of the House Health and Human Services Committee this week. Join DPC in thanking our sponsor, Representative Selina Bliss, for her leadership in introducing and championing this important bill. This legislation marks an important step toward ensuring Arizonans can access the care they need and deserve. We’re proud to stand alongside our coalition partners, ALS AZ and AKF, in making this progress possible.

DPC thanks Congresswoman Suzan DelBene and Congressman Jay Obernolte for their leadership in introducing the HOLD Act, which has now been signed into law. This landmark legislation is a meaningful step forward in recognizing the support living donors need throughout the donation process. By reducing financial and logistical barriers, the HOLD Act helps more people receive kidney transplants sooner, improves outcomes, and strengthens equity across the kidney care community.
