Happy Intersex Day of Solidarity!

Today we join the intersex community in recognizing Intersex Day of Solidarity—a day for awareness, advocacy, and compassion.

It is important to reflect on the importance of inclusion, visibility, and affirming care for this community to understand their experiences and advocate for their rights.

Our therapists are committed to providing affirming, compassionate care that supports authenticity, healing, and self-advocacy.

Diversity Richmond is hosting a free virtual Religious Trauma/Transitions Peer Support Group–a safe and welcoming space for those navigating the complex emotions and challenges that come with religious transitions.

About the Group:
The primary goal of this group is to provide both practical and personal support during the transitional process. Questioning or releasing religious beliefs can impact multiple areas of life—emotionally, relationally, and personally. In this group, you’ll find understanding, respect for confidentiality, and peer support to help you move forward on your journey.

When: First Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM.

Facilitator: Ally Gessati, a trained peer leader with a background in social work and specialized experience facilitating post-religion support groups.
