Virtual Webinar: Money and Relationships, January 21st at 7p EST

One of the most difficult topics in relationships can be around finances–how to talk about it, when to bring it up, and finding middle ground and compromise between discrepant financial habits between partners. SC Nealy, LPC, a q***r couples therapist in the DMV area, will talk about ways to bring up money, best practices, and how to work with your partner toward a common financial goal.

Come join us and RT Accounting Services for this webinar series, and make sure to check out the other ones they have going in January!

Pre-marital counseling has long since been gate-kept by the faith community, and it’s important to note that q***r folx have the same divorce rates as our cishet counterparts. It’s important to safeguard your relationship ahead of time by making sure you’ve discussed ALL the topics, and you’ve had a third party help you evaluate that connection and help point out areas that you can build in.

Beginning February 2026, we're so excited to begin offering a twice a month in-person support group every other Wednesday evening from 6p - 7p at $35/person per group (Pay-What-You-Can options available for 25% of the group). This is a drop-in, no commitment group, so you're welcome to come once, come every time, or at the pace that works best for you!

This group will be run by our peer support specialist, Liz Hewell Garrett (she/her), a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Marymount University. As the spouse of a trans woman, she is dedicated to fostering inclusive and affirming spaces and is passionate about supporting the LGBTQ+ community. She understands the unique experiences of partners of trans individuals and wants to offer a supportive space for reflection, connection, and growth.
