MomCo at Smokey Point Community Church We are a group for moms with children from pregnancy through the grade school years. WHAT IS MOMCO? WHEN DOES OUR GROUP MEET? WHERE DO WE MEET?

The MomCo (formerly MOPS) – an international organization that exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother to realize her potential as a woman, mother, and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. Mothers, not all the same age, but all in the same phase of life. Women with different lifestyles and different backgrounds, but all with similar needs and a shared desire to be the best mothers they can be! We have meetings from October to May and meets the first 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 9:30-11:30am along with some Mom's Night Out events. We meet at Smokey Point Community Church in Smokey Point.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? Mornings-We start our mornings with coffee and a light breakfast. We enjoy a speaker and then break into small groups. We occasionally do a fun craft (even ones us non-crafty folks can do!). All the while, our kids are cared for by loving, attentive and amazing volunteers! Fun, food and fellowship with other moms that 'get it'!

So many things to love about this! AND if you haven’t gone to the new Trader Joe’s in the mall, consider this your opportunity to! It’s niiiice!

Come by and celebrate Earth Day this weekend by getting rid of old unwanted paperwork and electronics at BECU's free shredding and e-cycle event at Everett Mall. In the parking lot next to Regal Cinemas from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Also, Salt of the Earth Food Blessing and Northwest Center will be on hand collecting donations of food, clothing and household items. If you can't make it Saturday, there are bins near the mall entrances where you can drop things off until Friday evening.
