Let’s hope Landon Collins does NOT have an Achilles Rupture but how bad is this diagnosis?!? May not be as bad as you think. While certainly a devastating injury and “season-ending” for a Pro Athlete, surgical treatment of this injury has DRASTICALLY improved. Minimally invasive surgery involves a 1-inch incision and takes less than 1 hour. Compared to traditional Achilles Repair, patients have less pain, fewer complications, much greater overall satisfaction and are FULL weight-bearing 2 weeks after surgery in a removable boot (no cast)!

Straight from the OR to the soccer field where I put on my "Dad Hat". Love watching these guys develop their skills under the bright lights! Kudos to Hank's coach who was teaching him ways to avoid foot/ankle injury when trapping or striking the ball.
