North Union High School National Honor Society students came down to Valley Vue Care Center for their monthly activity visit. They brought along excitement, a HUGE container of cheeseballs, some hair covers, and shaving cream. Students eagerly paired themselves up with a resident and were prepped - hair covers on and shaving cream on top. Residents were stocked up with cheeseballs and were told to throw them at the pile of shaving cream on top of the student's heads!!
Residents talked and reminisced of the fun they had with this activity for the next few days! Enjoy the pictures!!

Construction is complete!

🚧 There is a spot of the concrete that had to be taken out and is now filled with gravel and sand. There are also barricades to alert everyone and remind them to be cautious, if near the south end of the building. 🚧

All doors to Valley Vue Care Center are now able to be utilized so stop in for a visit! Thanks everyone😊

Emmet County Naturalist, Sidney, stopped by with two of her slithering friends recently! Clover, a corn snake, and Franklin, a hognose snake, were the morning's visitors. Residents and staff were hesitant with the idea of snakes visiting, but it didn't stop them from gaining the courage to pet the snakes and feel their skin. We gained SO much knowledge about these two snakes and even learned that one of our residents has eaten snake for a meal when he was a kid! How cool!!
