Birthdays are fun to celebrate at Valley Vue Care Center!! The staff and residents gather to sing "Happy Birthday" and then a birthday wish is made as a candle is blown out. Birthday cake is a yummy treat for everyone to enjoy!
Other enjoyment lately is... babies and kids! The giggles and the babbles or coos can be heard through the halls as these visitors pop in for a quick visit from time to time.

As the temperatures drop, our hearts turn toward the families in our own community who could use a little extra warmth this season.

Valley Vue Care Center and Spring Creek Independent & Assisted Living are collecting youth-size coats, sweaters, boots, socks, hygiene items, and nonperishable food to support local students and families before the holidays.

If you feel led to give, we would be so grateful. Every hat, every coat, every small necessity makes a real difference for a child right here in our school district.

Donations can be dropped off now through December 18 at 108 Second Avenue, Armstrong.

Thank you for helping us spread warmth where it’s needed most.

Join us at Valley Vue Care Center and Spring Creek Independent & Assisted Living on December 18 from 4:00–5:00 PM for treats, cozy drinks, festive crafts (and even a special visit from Santa himself! 🎅)

Residents and tenants celebrated Halloween with community trick-or-treating and a resident and staff party. Dressing up in costume is always fun and staff were very creative with their costumes this year! Dietary staff made some festive and yummy treats, candy was passed to trick-or-treaters, pumpkins were decorated, and everyone had a fun time celebrating!

Throughout the month of October, Valley Vue Care Center and Spring Creek Independent & Assisted Living employees had the chance to participate in a pumpkin decorating contest! Residents were then encouraged to vote for their favorite decorated pumpkin during our Halloween Party. 👻🎃

Here is a video clip that shares all the pumpkins that were decorated for the contest. Congratulations to Amber, as her pumpkin got the most votes and overall was a favorite! Amber won a 'Boo Basket' which included items such as candy, a candle, a fuzzy blanket, a wine glass, and some decorative items! Thanks to all employees who participated in this fun activity!
