Meet Tasha Kelly. Tasha is a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) at Providence House and provides counseling, education, and support to individuals with substance use disorders as part of their treatment and recovery process.

"I was born and raised in Butte, MT, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice in 2019. I received my master's in business administration in 2021 and am pursuing my master's in clinical mental health counseling. I have been working in different forms of treatment since 2020. I began my journey at Montana State Prison as an SOP treatment tech delivering the psychoeducational portion of the sexual offender program. From there, I obtained my associate addiction counselor license in 2023 and worked serving my home community of Butte, MT, in an outpatient SUD clinic until moving to Williston, ND. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, relaxing at home, or traveling and discovering new places."

Step 7 is about humility and transformation. It’s not about perfection—it’s about being willing to change.

In this step, we let go of pride and fear, and open ourselves to growth. We acknowledge that recovery isn’t just about what we stop doing—it’s about becoming who we’re meant to be. 💙

✨ Step 7 reminds us: we don’t have to carry old patterns forever. With humility and willingness, change is possible.

October is Substance Use Prevention Month—a time to focus on education, early intervention, and building stronger communities. 💙

Prevention starts with awareness. Did you know? Risk factors like trauma, peer pressure, family history, and untreated mental health conditions can increase vulnerability to substance use.

By addressing these risks early, we can reduce the chances of substance use disorder and promote healthier futures.

Meet Lindsey Page. Lindsey is a Licensed Master Addictions Counselor (LMAC) at Providence House. She helps individuals and families navigate substance use disorder by providing expert assessment, counseling, treatment planning, and support throughout recovery.

"I am from Mesa, Arizona, and am a newbie to North Dakota. I am a Licensed Masters Addictions Counselor with a Master's in Science in General Psychology and a Graduate Certificate in Addictions from Purdue University Global. My goal is to provide the best care possible for those suffering from the disease of addiction and to help those be relieved from their suffering. Having been there and being in recovery myself, I know the true torture that it can be for those suffering and for those around them. Like Gandhi said, "Be the change that you wish to see in the world," and that is what I am going to continue to do.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my children and getting snuggles from them. I love to read just about anything, but mostly fantasy. Football Sundays are also my favorite, and I am an Arizona Cardinals fan."
