Have you seen a teal pumpkin on your neighbors porch and wondered what it was about?

The encourages households to give away non-food treats for children with allergies to enjoy. Examples can include pencils, tiny stuffed toys, mini notepads, slinkies, bubbles, crayons, markers, stickers, stencils - all these will make little ones shriek with joy.

A teal pumpkin on your porch indicates that you are offering non-food treats and your household is fun to trick-or-treat for kids with food allergies.

You can also log in on the Teal Pumpkin Project website so that parents of kids with food allergies can mark your house as the one to visit on their trick-or-treat route.
