Hi! So glad you are here! I’m Alisha and I’m a trained doula serving the Central Coast of California. I live with my husband on 5 acres in beautiful Arroyo Grande. Whether working on our little farm or traveling to find the best mountain biking trails, you can usually find me outside as I’m a passionate lover of the outdoors. Running, riding and backpacking are my favorite ways to connect with nature.
My passion for Women’s health arose out of my own personal journey to heal and understand my body. As I deepened my studies, I began to understand the body and the multifaceted ways it functions. Honoring our natural rhythms, listening to the deep wisdom of the body and stop separating the physical from the mental, emotional and spiritual. I believe you have the power to heal and enlighten your experience of life. I believe we all carry the power to heal ourselves which in turn helps us to heal each other. If we work together, I am determined to support you while we explore the outer and inner principles for a successful conscious birth experience. YOU are the navigator and decision maker of this experience. Your baby, your body and your birth!
Fertility, pregnancy, birth and postpartum are all sacred transitions with many paths to follow. My highest goal is to provide evidence based research, community resources and a safe environment in order for you to feel rooted during these transitions.
