Meal prep doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective.

This week I kept it simple: a big batch of vegetable soup and a mix of grilled proteins to rotate through meals. Having this ready makes weekday decisions a lot easier and helps keep nutrition on track without much effort. We could all use a little ease!

The soup freezes well in glass jars, which makes it an easy option to pull out later when you need it.

If you’re trying to eat better, start here. You don’t need a full plan, just food ready to go!

What are your favorite make-ahead meals for the week? Let me know in the comments 💚

Parasite cleanses are having a moment right now.
But what we see in clinical practice tells a very different story.

At Middle Path Medicine, we run comprehensive GI testing regularly, and true parasitic infections are uncommon, both in practice and in the U.S. Most symptoms people try to “cleanse” away, like fatigue, brain fog, and digestive issues, are far more often tied to hormone imbalance, thyroid dysfunction, SIBO, or microbiome disruption.

That matters, because treating the wrong thing delays real answers.

If you’re concerned about parasites, testing is available and treatment is straightforward when it’s needed. If not, that’s where the real work begins: identifying what is driving your symptoms and addressing it directly.

Accurate diagnosis matters. So does avoiding unnecessary treatment.

Serious about your health. (Not about being serious all the time.)

We believe in individualized care—because you are a wonderful one-of-one!
We listen closely, think deeply, and care about the whole person. You are so much more than the sum of your parts.

And yes, there’s often a laugh in the room! Feeling better isn’t just about labs—it’s about living well.

Abbi Kraemer, PA-C joined Middle Path Medicine in 2024 and is now accepting new patients! Today she shares her current protein and nutrient powerhouse shake.

A daily shake is a simple way to support your body while also creating an easy routine for adding in key nutrients. This week’s version: chocolate peanut butter!

I like using a plant-protein blend, great for those who don’t tolerate dairy well. From there, it becomes an opportunity to layer in targeted supplements and whole food ingredients that support overall energy.

A couple things to keep in mind:
-The supplements are all available at MPM
-Flax seeds are best purchased whole and ground fresh for absorption.
-Goji berries are a rich source of zeaxanthin, which plays an important role in eye health.
Check out the recipe in the slides above, add water and ice, blend, and you’re set. Enjoy!

The Acute Viral Protocol is designed for early intervention in respiratory viral illness— the colds, flus—you know the ones.
The key variable is timing.
High-dose Vitamin D3 for short-term innate immune activation, paired with concentrated herbal formulations and Vitamin C for complementary immune signaling.
This is not maintenance dosing. It is a short-term, physician-guided strategy.
Dr. Foresman has used the AVP successfully for two decades!
Bundle available in-shop and online. We look forward to seeing you!!
