Our residents enjoyed our socially distanced Oktoberfest party. Such a perfect afternoon with some pretzels, cheese filled pretzels, Bratwurst, jello shots, beers and non-alcoholic beers 💙💛💙

We all hope everyone is having a good Friday.

This afternoon, our activities team threw our residents and staff members a Luau Happy Hour with the help of our awesome dietary team who BBQ'd for us. We delivered some chicken teriyaki skewers, meatballs and pineapple kabob, sliced pineapples and watermelon along with some mocktails and cocktails (Malibu pineapple Hurricane and Blue Hawaiian) to our lovely residents, and our amazing staff also joined in on the fun. 🌺🗿🌺

It's been awhile since we've updated you with what's happening here at AGCC...

Well today, our lovely residents and staff members enjoyed an ice cream treat. We also tried pouring coffee onto an Espresso chip ice cream and everyone who tried it loved it.

Our Annual Family Thanksgiving Luncheon was a success!!!

Seeing our residents enjoy their thanksgiving meal with their families was definitely a good reminder to each and everyone of us here at AGCC why we love and continue to do what we do.

Each and every department helped in making this event a successful one: from the activities staff in the planning, setting up and decorating , to our awesome dietary team who made sure that we provide an exceptional meal for everyone to enjoy and making sure we get our dessert bar flowing with good treats, to the therapy staff who made all of our beautiful centerpieces and helped with passing drinks, maintenance guys who helped in setting up the tables and chairs and running all day to fill up drink carts in every station, to the housekeeping team who helped make sure everything is clean, to the managers who entertained and made sure that each resident and family members get drink refills, our awesome nurses who held the floor while all of the fun is going on and to all the CNAs for all the help and hardwork.

What a great team we have!

Cheers to many more events to celebrate.

|| Today, we honored our brave Veterans by throwing them a party here at AGCC. We had an ice cream sundae bar, jammed along with Rick Jarrett and had visitors from American Legions who provided our Veterans with handmade quilts made by the Quilting Angel's. It's an amazing program altogether joined by our hardworking staff and family members. It's very heartfelt, a privilege to honor these brave men and women who fought for our freedom.

We have the greatest armed forces the world has ever seen. It is made up of real people who joined for myriad reasons. Brave men and women who sacrificed a whole hell of a lot. Today is their day. So celebrate a Veteran today.

To those currently serving and those out, thank you for your service. We appreciate you. ||

Hello July.

We welcomed July with a patriotic Ice Cream Social.

Such a perfect treat for our residents and staff who got to enjoy the sunshine shiney day. We had patriotic playlist playing in the background, board games and a little time to mingle with their peers.
