Happy 2-1-1 day United Way of Eddy County 🎉

Thank you for always showing up for our community!!

Today Mayor Pro-Tem Youtsey issued a proclamation declaring February 11th as 2-1-1 Day in Artesia! The proclamation recognizes the support and aid that United Way of Eddy County offers to citizens through their 2-1-1 program.

Citizens can dial 2-1-1 on their phone and get connected to United Way of Eddy County. They offer support including resources for utility assistance, food pantries/distribution, veteran services, mental health support, shelters, clothing, prescription medications, and more.

This proclamation seeks to bring awareness to the assistance that's available for citizens in need. We're grateful to United Way of Eddy County for their presence in our community and the work they do.

Did you hear? Artesia now has a baby box adding another alternative for a mother facing an unexpected pregnancy!

Baby box is located on the east side of the hospital near the surgery entrance.

This option is 100% anonymous & safe!

If you find yourself surrendering your baby, we want you to know how strong and brave you are!

We are here for YOU

The Safe Haven Baby Box Artesia, NM, is a compassionate resource for parents to surrender infants under 90 days old safely and anonymously.
