We are excited to announce that Ben Marcantonio has been named the new President of The Denver Hospice and Colorado Visiting Nurse Association (CVNA).

Ben brings more than 40 years of leadership experience in healthcare, education, and social services. His extensive background includes senior leadership with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and serving as President & CEO of Hospice of the Chesapeake in Maryland. Most recently, he was Chief Integration Officer for the National Alliance for Care at Home, where he helped unify two national associations into one organization.

“Ben’s decades of experience and commitment to patients and families make him an ideal leader to guide The Denver Hospice and CVNA into the future,” said Tim Bowen, President & CEO of Care Synergy.

Did you know that Colorado Visiting Nurse Association and Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver are the local partners behind Community Aging in Place – Advancing Better Living for Elders (CAPABLE), which provides medical consultations and home repairs to improve comfort and mobility for low-income homeowners?

Maria’s story, featured in a recent edition of the Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver newsletter, demonstrates how this program helps seniors stay safe and healthy in their own homes.

Lonni, a Colorado native, senses that her new Habitat home in Denver’s Cole neighborhood represents the start of a new chapter in her home state.

For Megan Lumpkins, home health is about trust, independence, and connection.

As a dedicated member of our Colorado VNA home health team, Megan helps patients stay safe and independent at home through fall prevention, personalized care plans, and close collaboration with families. She shares, “It’s incredibly rewarding to support patients where they’re most comfortable.”
