✨ Teacher Spotlight: Meet Emma! ✨
We are so excited to shine a light on one of the wonderful souls guiding our community at Gray Yoga. Emma brings a unique blend of energy, mindfulness, and rhythm to the mat, making every session an opportunity for discovery.
Classes I teach: Vinyasa
Emma’s Vinyasa flow is designed to harmonize breath with movement, creating a seamless dance that builds heat, strength, and internal focus. Whether you are looking to challenge your physical edge or find a moving meditation, her classes offer the perfect space to flow.
Why I teach yoga: “I teach yoga because it has been a profound gift in my life, and I want to share that sense of calm, presence, and connection with others. Yoga teaches me to pause, inhabit my body fully, and connect with something greater than myself— and guiding others to feel that same aliveness is very meaningful to me.”
For Emma, yoga isn’t just a series of postures; it’s a pathway to returning home to oneself. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the idea that by slowing down and breathing deeply, we can unlock a deeper appreciation for the present moment.
A fun fact about me: “I’m a huge fan of live music and love getting lost in the energy of a show. From bluegrass to jam bands, I love the way music brings people together, creates flow, and keeps me fully in the moment — just like yoga does.”
When she isn’t in the studio, you can likely find Emma at a concert, soaking up the vibrations and the collective joy of the crowd. She carries that same “high-vibe” spirit into the studio, helping students find their own rhythm on and off the mat.
