Piping and Presenting the Tasting at the March 28th 2026 Irish Tripple Pot Still Irish Whiskey Tasting at Cherokee Ranch and Castle.

We had a great night last night, the shattered, volunteers and guests continue to be the very best of people! Phoyi with Director Marilyn Duckett.

Drinking high quality whiskey in a hand built castle with bagpipes, it doesn't get much better.

What a great St. Patrick's Month it has been. I've had a great month of March, being able to share the Irish and the Scottish cultural songs and tunes with my many audiences throughout Colorado here in 2026.

This represents 25 years this year, a quarter decade of playing the pipes as a professional, full-time bagpiper here in the West. At 300 events annually, that is roughly 7,500 solo performances I have played, and I can't tell you all how thankful I am to you all.

To each family, to each company, to each historic Colorado property, to each event organizer, thank you for supporting both the arts, but also thank you for supporting the continuation of Celtic heritage in the US.

Slainte!

I represented Tullamore Dew at the Sturgis Rally 2026, the concert venue and campgrounds called The Buffalo Chip.

The Buffalo Chip just ran a St Patrick's Day shout out on their page, with my bagpiping photos, and the Tullamore Dew team all having a great day.

Today, the bagpipes have taken me to Glenwood Springs for the service of Clan McGill.

I was tuning up before the service and stopped in front of a grave. The resting place of William Mortgomery Campbell, born up here in 1856 and passed away in 1911. Glenwood Springs is where Doc Holiday was killed, and this town is a part of the Wild West story. This means that the person resting here was in his early 30s, when Doc Holiday was gunned down on the main street of Glenwood Spings.

History is always just a step away, if you just bother to just look a little deeper into wherever you happen to find yourself.

Tonight we celebrate Whiskies of the World at Cherokee Ranch and Castle in Castle Pines area!

I just want to thank Marilyn, the very skilled executive that runs Cherokee Ranch and Castle. Under Marilyn's stewardship of Cherokee Ranch and Castle, we have seen the very best events, the most fun events, and the most positive atmosphere for both staff, volunteers and guests of any director I have worked with at the Castle in my 16 years of performing at CRC. Well done Marilyn!

What a great night was had last night as I was hired to play the Great Hoghland Bagpipes at the Denver Scotch Club event led by Alister Menzie of Signatory Single Malt Scotch. Tastings included over 10 different bottles, and the flavor of the 30 Year Old Edradour Single Malt Scotch was incredible.

The event was celebrating Robbie Burns and the members of the club are a great group of people!

The Old Course, St Andrews, Scotland
28th January 2026

The Links is a street in St Andrews that borders the right side of the 18th fairway of the Old Course St Andrews. Its position allows members of the public to stand just a few metres from play as golfers make their way up the closing hole. Watching from The Links is a routine pleasure, with people stopping to follow shots, judge approaches and share quiet reactions to good or bad finishes.

Performed a very moving funeral service at Fort Logan yesterday, thank you to the family for allowing me to celebrate the life of a US Paratrooper. It was a huge honor for me.

Army Honor Guard were dressed in the 1940s Eisenhauer uniforms, so cool to see.
