AI can offer information. It can suggest coping skills. It can even sound supportive.

But it cannot sit with you in real time and feel the weight of your story.

It cannot notice the shift in your voice when something hurts. It cannot gently challenge a pattern it sees you repeating. It cannot build a relationship with you that grows over time, rooted in trust, safety, and accountability.

Therapy is not just advice. It is attunement. It is nervous system to nervous system. It is being witnessed by another human who is trained to hold complexity, trauma, grief, and growth.

Technology can be a tool. It is not a replacement for connection.

So I put my boots on, step outside my comfort zone, and do it anyway.

I love dancing.
Am I good at it? Absolutely not.
Does that stop me? Also no. 😅

As a mental health group practice owner, I talk all day about regulation, nervous system health, and stress release—and dancing checks so many of those boxes.

You don’t have to be good at something for it to be good for you.
