If you don’t know who you are anymore,
there’s often a very understandable reason for that.
Many of us learned early on that being helpful, useful, or emotionally supportive
made us feel safer and more valued.
Over time, our sense of worth can become tied to how much we do for others.
When the support isn’t reciprocated,
or when we finally need care ourselves,
it can bring up confusion, anxiety, and resentment.
That experience doesn’t mean you’re broken or lost.
It often means you’re starting to recognize
that you are also worthy of being supported, loved, and taken care of.
That realization can feel unsettling,
but it’s also where real inner alignment begins.
