Kiana recently underwent open heart surgery, and during her recovery, she had some very special visitors by her side—Lemon and Posey 🐾

They brought comfort, encouragement, and a few much-needed smiles during a challenging time.

Kiana also helped decorate one of the vases for our Kaleidoscope Gala, sharing her creativity and strength with our community. ✨

March is National Child Life Month, and we’re celebrating our partners at HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children’s and their amazing Child Life team! 💙

Their dedication to supporting kids during hospital stays helps make the experience a little brighter. We’re proud to partner with them through Paws for RMC, our facility dog program, where Posey and Lemon bring snuggles, comfort, and joy to kids when they need it most. 🐾

🚓Team Police or 🚒Team Fire?

Today, Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation, along with our friends at Arvada Police and Arvada Fire, hosted a stuffed animal drive for kids in the hospital. 🧸💙

Everyone who dropped off donations got to choose whether their gift counted toward Team Police or Team Fire in this friendly competition.

It was a great day full of laughs, joy, and community, all in support of kids in the hospital. Thank you to everyone who came out and donated stuffed toys!

🎉🐾 Wish Lemon a Happy Birthday! 🐾🎉

Lemon got to spend her special day getting all the love she deserves, enjoying some treats, cuddles, and extra belly rubs.

Every day, Lemon does what she does best: bringing comfort, joy, and a little bit of magic to kids in the hospital. She’s there for hugs, hand-holding, cuddles, and all the moments that help kids feel a little calmer and a lot happier. Her wagging tail and presence make hospital days brighter for so many families. 💙

💙 Big moment yesterday! 💙

We officially celebrated the grand opening of our new Teen Lounge at HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children’s.

Inspired by Ryan, a patient who courageously battled alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, this Teen Room was created with his vision at the heart of it all. While going through treatment, Ryan dreamed of something beyond medical care—a place where teens could feel like themselves. A space to connect, laugh, play games, and take a break from everything they’re facing.

Before he passed, Ryan worked closely with the Child Life team to help bring this vision to life, thoughtfully planning what this room could be for others just like him.

Today, because of Ryan and with the incredible support of our friends at Shea’s Village, RMCHF was able to make his dream a reality.

This Teen Lounge will be a place for connection, comfort, and a little bit of normalcy for kids when it’s needed most.

🧸Join RMCHF for a Stuffed Animal Drive with Arvada First Responders🚓🚒

Stop by RMCHF this Wednesday and drop off new stuffed animals to help bring comfort and smiles to kids facing medical challenges. Our friends from the Arvada Police and Fire Departments will be there too, going head-to-head to see who can collect the most stuffed toys!
