Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia can feel overwhelming. You don’t have to do it alone.
Join us tomorrow for our monthly Family Support Group — a welcoming space for connection, shared experiences, and practical support.

A Family Support Group for Those Caring for Loved Ones with Dementia

Families caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia often face complex emotions, evolving responsibilities, and difficult decisions. At The Gardens on Quail, we believe caregivers deserve support, understanding, and community.

We invite families to participate in a monthly Family Support Group created to bring caregivers together in a meaningful and supportive environment.

During each session, participants will explore:

Ways to improve communication and connection during visits

Practical caregiving strategies

Tools for managing stress and prioritizing self-care

Greater understanding of the dementia journey

The group encourages open conversation, shared learning, and mutual support—helping caregivers feel seen, informed, and less alone.

This support group is facilitated by Marci Gerke, LPN, Regional Director of Memory Care Services, whose clinical experience and compassionate leadership guide thoughtful, welcoming discussions.

It has been a festive week at the Gardens on Quail!
We started the week with a “Snacksgiving” filled with yummy treats and prizes and today we celebrated our Thanksgiving meal with friends and family.
Thank you to all who were able to join us this week!
