Currently, 36 states and Washington D.C. have legalized medical ma*****na. Of those, 15 states and Washington D.C. have legalized recreational ma*****na2.
Ma*****na legalization is a state issue, not a federal one. However, there are currently several bills in Congress that aim to legalize ma*****na at the federal level.
The Ma*****na Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement ( ) was passed by the House of Representatives in December 2020 but has yet to be passed by the U.S. Senate.
▪︎ The bill would remove ma*****na from the list of federally controlled substances and expunge certain ma*****na-related convictions.
‼️ So, does anyone see the blatant corruption within the U.S. Senate? We know via our personal conversations & years of advocacy that New Jersey Senate Democrats are heavily invested in the " " profiteer hustle. 🤔⬇️
In fact, if we were to look at ALL whom have passed recreational -- we will see the U.S. Senate members actively investing, abusing political office favors & privileged/private information to create a political out of the U.S. industry. ( )
Now, we look at which had a citizen referendum (citizen vote) as our local wanted Legalization, but all leading senators continued to propose bills that would & have given 99% of the "legal" cannabis licenses to lobbyists, political advocates, minorities w/ "priority approval" (whom are funded by upper 1% white women & selling out the black community of for their own profits) & of course the corporations whom are actively members of State of New Jersey (we have the evidence in black & white), all approved w/ the rubber stamp of Governor Phil Murphy. 🐀
So - what does this leave for those of us who've been growing this for 20+ years amidst the FAILED of "prohibition" in the " " which incarcerated us for YEARS & Made us Pay "Legal Fees" for non-violent *****na "crimes" in excess of $140,000??
▪︎ Were all sh*t out of luck unless we bribe a local politician, along with the sellout "leaders" of the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission?
▪︎ We have documents proving "leaders" of the working to bribe municipalities & the mayor's of these cities to allow for 's to operate --- instead of working to "legally license" those of us in New Jersey whom HAVE managed as well as facilitated 1,000's of Cannabis Plants amidst prohibition.
Instead of empower the in black communities whom suffered arrests & disenfranchisement at a 3.5% greater rate than the white citizens of N.J. whom consume cannabis at an equal rate... the good old ensured the out-of-state millionaires were granted business ownership, despite the ability of MANY NJ locals to grow --- (not 1 in New Jersey sells nor grows organic cannabis because they JUST DONT CARE FOR QUALITY).
