Here’s why the George Milton Group has made the commitment to providing 50 hours of pro bono mediation services to healthcare workers and their families…
Outside of slow cooking a pork butt, I have very few skills that can actually benefit others. Facilitating conversation and guiding individuals toward the resolution of conflict is one of those skills. Using this skillset to help ease the mental, physical, and financial burden that some folks are encountering these days is the least I can do for those who are doing some much to help others.
As cities and states have begun to open up, we are seeing spikes in COVID-19 cases. Regardless of what one attributes these spikes to, there is no debating the fact that frontline healthcare workers are putting themselves in harms way to care for others. While these individuals are working overtime to keep us safe, some may face struggles trying to keep their personal affairs in order, thus leading to an increase in interpersonal, marital, professional, and legal conflict.
So, if you have a client, a family member or a colleague that is a healthcare worker who is embattled in a dispute (whether this dispute is currently in litigation or not) that could benefit from conflict resolution or mediation services, please reach out to me.
